A Retraction: I am still needed. Although my adorable son has learned to go to sleep in his crib, he still needs his pacifier reinserted in his mouth about every minute and a half during the half hour that he naps. I swear he knows the creak of the stairs and me on my descent. Funny thing too...one would think I would be losing baby weight left and right with all these trips up and down the stairs. One would probably be right if one didnt have a treat in one's hand every trip up and down the stairs. But who cares about baby weight...I am loved and needed once again. All is right with the world.
